OBJECTIVE: Invent a magazine and create four spreads. Each spread must contain parts of two articles. These articles must be distinct enough that the reader will have no problems knowing which article they are reading.

SUBJECT: Filament Magazine, excerpts from Fast Food Nation by: Eric Schlosser, and A Girl of Many Parts: The Making of an Activist by: Jean Kilbourne

EXPLANATION: I varied the column widths and colors of the two articles to separate them. Fast Food Nation is printed in Frutiger ( a sanserif font) and A Girl of Many Parts with Mrs. Eaves (a serif font). These differences help immensely in the clarification of the two articles.
